Re: Here comes the competition: Cubasis

A quick glance at Cubasis reminds me of the other iOS multitrackers. Auria's interface looks higher end to me. (Not that it's about looks, but... well, yeah partly it is  ). But automation and 24 bit recording are not something I can go back from. (I do agree with an earlier poster... how long...

Re: Let them work and rtfm

I'd rather see a tolerant forum even at the expense of repeating a few threads. People can get converted and then get drawn in to the community. that's the way I see it anyhow. mtingle, I was actually referring to intolerance in both directions: those who simply don't care to read the manual or try...

Re: Let them work and rtfm

Every single technical forum I'm on has the same problem. Then you'll see others who post those same repeated questions getting all offended and say things like "Gosh, what kind of place is this that you can't ask a simple question without being told to search it yourself?" Or "I already did a searc...

Re: About the 50% price off sale of Auria today...

If I wrote Auria, I would love to every now and then do something crazy like that. I do that with my music. Once in a while I hand out a freebie, sometimes to generate interest, but other times, just because. It's my music and I can do whatever I want with it. I would feel the same about my software...

A de-esser plugin

A de-esser plugin would be most welcomed. I've been manually de-essing, but what a pain.

How about an IR management?

The hundreds of IRs available are seriously cool, but way too long to manage. Even when you download one or two IR packs, it's too long for a single list. Could IR management also be added?

Yes, I never understood this DAW behavior. Why keep playing when there's nothing left to play?

Re: Why no MIDI in Auria? Cheaper apps are offering more!

You could have saved yourself a long post by first asking "is Auria going to have MIDI", which we are told the answer is yes. :D

Re: Mastering in Auria

I imported wav files (mixed on another system) into Auria to do just that. (Check out the results at http://www.soundcloud.com/joetunon ). There is more than one way to do it (and no one way is "superior" to the other). You can use plugins on the individual tracks of a stereo mixdown (no need to spl...

Re: Is there a way to preview a selected region?

I was actually looking for a "poor man's" scrubbing, by being able to define a region by picking the start and end points, hearing only the section between those start and end points (once, not looped), then adjusting the start and end points, hearing it once again, etc., until you have the exact re...

Re: Is there a way to preview a selected region?

I'm not sure if I described it correctly. When I select S for solo in your steps above, it solos the whole track, not just the selected region. What I'm trying to do in effect is play just the highlighted region, muting the audio just before and just after so that all I'm hearing is the highlighted ...

Is there a way to preview a selected region?

Say you want to narrow down a region to just a small plosive or an "s" sibilant to do some precise editing (or select precise start and end points for any type of editing in general). Is there a way to have only the selection heard? I have a Roland MV 8800 that has "from" and "to" buttons that play ...

Re: Convolution Reverb Bug?

FWIW I also hear this behavior with the Vocal Plate preset, and only when using in the AUX channel. Using it as an insert seems to work fine.

Re: Option to move toolbar to the bottom..Is this possible?

I'd kind of like it at the bottom too. Makes it easier to use the transport in my opinion when you don't have the whole screen right under your palm.
